Research & Projects

Federated Learning

Cosine Lab, IIT ISM Dhanbad, Present

Work develops a multimodal deep learning architecture for Human Activity Recognition (HAR) using Federated Learning, enabling privacy-preserving training across heterogeneous sensor modalities. Another work, builds a Federated Learning pipeline for air-quality anomaly detection using real sensor data collected from mining environments. The system is deployed on distributed edge devices—including Raspberry Pis and Google Coral units—to enable low-latency, privacy-preserving monitoring in harsh field conditions.

Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, 2024

This project explores the Lorenz system as a key example of chaos theory in dynamic systems. It investigates bifurcation behavior and how small changes in initial conditions lead to drastic outcomes. Through theoretical insights and computational experiments, the sensitivity and complexity of the system are analyzed. The study highlights the unpredictability and chaotic nature of the Lorenz curve with potential real-world implications.
