My students are Rachanyt HEN and Pheany PHAL, who have talked about Predicting Heart Disease using Machine Learning Algorithms. They conducted Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), followed by the application of supervised machine learning algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Decision Tree. Then they defined the best algorithms of machine learning that work well with our dataset. The poster can be found here.
This webinar introduces Federated Learning (FL), a centralized approach that keeps data local while training models collaboratively. We explore FL workflow, client-server optimization techniques, and challenges like data heterogeneity. Using CIFAR-10 with the Flower framework, we present results, applications, and future directions. The poster can be found here.
This talk presents the foundational theory behind the Gradient Descent (GD) algorithm used in optimization. It covers motivation, step size analysis, and convergence under convex settings. Applications in machine learning, such as logistic regression, are also discussed. The poster can be found here.
Our aim in this webinar is to share our students' experience in pursuing math degrees abroad, learning, and doing various projects in MAC. We hope this sharing session will be useful information for Cambodian students who wish to consider themselves to become a part of our associationthis coming year. The poster can be found here.
This work introduces three foundational epidemiological models—SIS, SIR without vital dynamics, and SIR with vital dynamics. It explores their mathematical formulations, assumptions, and long-term behaviors to understand disease spread. The poster can be found here.
How to solve system of linear equation using matrix notation.
This session features two technical workshops: LaTeX for scientific writing and ChemDraw for chemical structure search. Participants will learn to create documents using TeX Live. The poster can be found here.
We introduced the concept of quotient groups and explored their applications. Additionally, we focused on the Fundamental Theorem of Homomorphisms and its applications. The poster can be found here.
We began by introducing and motivating the concept of group isomorphisms, followed by a proof of Cayley’s Theorem. We then explored the properties of isomorphisms and their applications. The poster can be found here.
